Omaha Twestival Selection

February 2nd, 2011 Comment

Be part of Omaha Twestival with this season's Twestival Local, which will support a local non-profit. 100% of funds raised from Twestival ticket sales, raffles and T-shirt sales will go to the selected charity.

Please use the form below to submit your charity or to suggest a charity for the team to consider. You do NOT need to be affiliated to suggest a charity, but it would be great if you provided a contact person.

Deadline to apply or submit a suggestion is Wednesday, February 9, 2011.

The process for selecting a charity for Twestival Local: The charitable recipient is decided by consensus amongst the organizing team and not a public vote. The team is looking for registered non-profits based in their city whose programs have a direct impact locally. The local team then submits a nonprofit approval form to the global team who will ensure it meets the vision and standards of Twestival. Twestival does not align with causes which are overtly political, religious or lack transparency in showing the impact of donations.
